Wanda Olugbala

The primary purpose of social workers is to provide an environment in which individuals feel empowered to change the quality of their lives, improve communication, and create healthy relationships. Wanda Olugbala  began her career as a community organizer in 1994  in Public Housing Projects. Since then she has worked as a program administrator, grantwriter, social welfare executive, and social policy analyst. However, Olugbala found her most rewarding work as a therapist. Consequently, for 30 years she has helped create environments where children are seen, heard, nurtured, cherished and safe to explore both their internal and external worlds. Olugbala remains dedicated to helping adults repair and strengthen their primary relationships in such a way that they bring up competent, healthy, successful families where positive self esteem and self concept are the norm.
